Chris Savage - Keyboards

Chris Savage has been playing keyboards professionally for about 20 years. Initially being introduced to the music business whilst working at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith in the production of Abbacadabra, a musical written by Mike Batt and members of Abba. Alongside people like Elaine Paige and BA Robertson, Chris has also performed in many Summer Shows in Jersey and the Isle of Man, working with Derek Batey and the late great Irish singer Joseph Lock Mr X. In the 90's Chris teamed up with Belinda Carlisle's backing band to form a Bruce Springsteen show and has also been involved in a successful theatre tour of the Garth Brooks Show.

Chris also spent a short while working with The Cufflinks, a sixties act, reproducing hits like Tracy. In 1998 Chris became involved with the UK's top no.1 Country artist Glen Mitchell, whose albums were produced by the legendary Elvis producer, Chip Young, at BMG records. Chris also toured extensively with Glen.

Chris became involved with Mud in the late eighties and played regularly with Les Gray, backing Syd Twynham, John Berry and Wole Rothe in the band The Escorts. Chris was proud to play at the Hammersmith Les Gray memorial concert, after many years of involvement with all of Mud. Chris has also done a number of session recordings on many albums including the Equals and Spencer James, lead singer from The Searchers.
