Mick Backham is Ronnie Tutt on Drums

Mick Backham bought his first drum kit in 1971. Since that time he has never looked back. His professional career has spanned some 30 years and he is totally dedicated to his art. He has performed at The Royal Festival Hall as well as The Usher Hall in Edinburgh. He has also appeared in theatre performing such classics as 'Hello Dolly', 'Fiddler On The Roof' and 'Yeoman Of The Guard' to name but a few. In various successful bands during the 1980's he toured the world and in ever changing times still continues to perform. His career has taken several turns, which Mick feels have always been for the better. Indeed, when not performing, he puts his qualifications from The Guildhall School of Music to good use as a professional drum teacher, passing on his experience to pupils ranging from 6 to 60.
